  2. According to verses 4-5, did God make us alive in Christ after we came out of sin or while we were still dead in transgression? What does this mean?

  3. How are we saved according to verses 7-9? And what should be the result of salvation according to verse 10?

  4. What is the difference between gentile believers and those with citizenship in Israel?

  5. What is the covenant of promise? Hint: Genesis 12-15.

  6. Why might the “blood of Christ” change foreigners into family?

  7. Who is our peace? What does that mean to you?

  8. Cross reference verse 15 with Matthew 5:17-19. Do you observe any differences?

  9. As a part of the Church of God tradition, we claim holiness and unity as our two pillars. Do you see any verses that point to unity?
